Поезда «Сапсан» с начала их эксплуатации перевезли почти 1,5 млн пассажиров, сообщил президент ОАО «Российские железные дороги» (РЖД) Владимир Якунин на селекторном совещании, посвященном работе пассажирского комплекса компании. По его словам, с 6 сентября 2010 г. объемы движения поездов «Сапсан» составляют 9 пар в сутки, а среднее использование вместимости с учетом сменяемости пассажиров в пути следования — более 85%. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба РЖД.
«Мы задали новый стандарт качества пассажирских перевозок. В частности, вышло специальное распоряжение РЖД о выплате денежных компенсаций пассажирам за опоздание «Сапсана» в размере от 25% до 100% стоимости билета», — подчеркнул Якунин.
Кроме того, он напомнил, что в развитии высокоскоростных перевозок в ближайшее время будет сделан новый шаг — 12 декабря 2010 г. откроется скоростное движение между Санкт-Петербургом и Хельсинки.
Напомним, высокоскоростные поезда «Сапсан» с декабря 2009г . используются на маршруте Москва — Санкт-Петербург — Москва, а с 30 июля 2010 г. также и на маршруте Москва — Нижний Новгород — Москва. Поезд может развивать скорость до 250 км/ч.
