«Газпром» назвали фаворитом в борьбе за участие в разработке газового месторождения Левиафан в Средиземном море у берегов Израиля, сообщает Globes.
Газовый монополист предложил наибольшие деньги за долю в совместном предприятии. В то же время между нынешними участниками СП по разработке существуют разногласия по поводу привлечения партнера. Израильская Delek Group выступает в поддержку «Газпрома» из-за его возможностей по инвестированию в капитал, американскаяцы из Noble Energy считают, что к сотрудничеству следует привлечь одну из западных фирм.
Названия возможных конкурентов «Газпрома» не разглашаются.
Компании, намеревающиеся инвестировать в месторождение, ранжированы по следующим критериям: опыт в разработке газовых месторождений и строительстве терминалов для сжиженного газа; возможность обеспечить финансирование разработки месторождения; количество будущих потребителей; собственно цена предложения. «Газпром» лидирует по последнему критерию.
Прогнозный объем газа в месторождении «Левиафан» составляет 450 млрд кубометров. Этого достаточно, чтобы снабжать Израиль газом на протяжении 130 лет и лишь немногим меньше годовой добычи «Газпрома».
