Московская биржа намерена запустить торги валютной парой гонконгский доллар — рубль. Введение нового инвестиционного инструмента одобрил во вторник комитет биржи по валютному рынку, следует из материалов торговой площадки.
Решение о дате начала торгов пока не принято.
Кроме того, бирже поручено проработать вопрос об организации совместной торговли юанем с Шанхайской биржей (CFETS) — «единый стакан» по паре юань—рубль, говорится в материалах биржи.
Комитет также рекомендовал бирже проводить торги в случае, если более одного выходного дня в России являются рабочими днями на торговых площадках Великобритании и США.
Отметим, что специальный административный район Китайской Народной Республики – Гонконг — на сегодняшний день является одним из основных финансовых центров современной мировой экономической системы. Официально Гонконг является частью Китая, но на самом деле влияние на автономию со стороны КНР незначительно. У Гонконга есть собственная денежная единица – гонконгский доллар. Юани и гонконгские доллары являются надёжными высоколиквидными конвертируемыми средствами обмена ценностями.
Гонконгские доллары присутствуют на международном рынке «Форекс». Эту валюту принято обозначать банковским кодом HKD и шифром международной организации стандартизации ISO 4217. HKD привязан к курсу американского доллара, как и большинство участников международной системы плавающих валютных курсов, в том числе и юань КНР. На сегодняшний день гонконгский доллар к рублю соотносится центральными банками государств как 1 HKD за 4.97 RUB.
