Михаил Ходорковский не будет финансировать новый проект экс-редактора ведомства «Lenta.ru» Галины Тимченко, передает газета «Ведомости».
«Переговоры с ними полностью прекращены, мы запустимся с другими инвесторами», — сказала она.
«Я могу вам гарантировать, мы полностью обновили состав инвесторов проекта», — заявила Галина Тимченко, но участников не назвала.
Название проекта и его сайт будут объявлены в начале октября. Штаб будет находиться в Латвии. «Для нас это дополнительная гарантия независимости и безопасности, того, что к нам не вломятся с масками и автоматами, не заблокируют работу», — объяснила Тимченко.
Галина Тимченко возглавляла редакцию онлайн-издания Lenta.ru с 2004 по 2014 год. В марте она была уволена, вслед за ней из издания ушло большинство сотрудников.
