Уголовное дело в отношении Сергея Цапка и еще пяти обвиняемых в массовом убийстве в станице Кущевская будет рассматриваться присяжными. Надзорное ведомство также собирается создать специальную группу гособвинителей, в которою, в том числе, войдут сотрудники центрального аппарата, сообщает Лента.ру со ссылкой на «Интерфакс».
Ранее с ходатайством о рассмотрении дела присяжными обратились четверо обвиняемых. По словам начальника управления Генпрокуратуры в Южном федеральном округе Вячеслава Конушкина, решено удовлетворить ходатайство, поскольку невозможно выделить дело в отношении остальных обвиняемых.
23 июля Генпрокуратура объявила об утверждении обвинительного заключения по делу Цапка и его сообщников: Владимира Алексеева, Игоря Черных, Вячеслава Цеповяза, Владимира Запорожца и Николая Цапка. Слушания по существу, дата которых еще не назначена, будут проходить в Краснодарском краевом суде.
Подсудимым вменяют бандитизм, убийства, покушения на убийства, разбой, незаконное лишение свободы, незаконный оборот оружия и другие преступления. Всего предполагаемых челнов банды обвиняют в 19 убийствах, в том числе ее предполагаемого лидера Сергея Цапка считают причастным к 18 убийствам.
По версии следствия, банда совершала преступления с 1998 года. Ее деятельность была пресечена в ноябре 2010 года после убийства 12 человек, включая несовершеннолетних, в станице Кущевской.
