Верховная Рада Украины проголосовала за немедленное разоружение иррегулярных вооружённых формирований. «В связи с чрезвычайной общественно-политической ситуацией, сложившейся в стране, обострением криминогенной обстановки и системными провокациями со стороны иностранных граждан на юго-востоке Украины и в Киеве, Верховная Рада Украины постановляет обязать Министерство внутренних дел Украины, Службу безопасности Украины немедленно разоружить незаконные вооруженные формирования», — говорится в постановлении.
МВД приняло немедленные меры по отношению к активистам праворадикального «Правого сектора» — одной из главных боевых структур Украинской революции. Сегодня с утра была блокирована киевская штаб-квартире в гостинице «Днепр». Находившиеся в ней бойцы вынуждены были покинуть территорию без оружия.
Решение о немедленном разоружении принято после киевского инцидента, когда член «Правого сектора» в бытовом конфликте ранил двух бойцов самообороны и заместителя главы киевской администрации Богдана Дубаса. Однако ситуация имеет более глубокие причины. Она отражает конфликт между выходцами из элиты, контролирующими правительства и радикальным низовым движением, обеспечившим в феврале победу Украинской революции.
