Спутник связи «Экспресс-АМУ1» выведен на орбиту ракетой-носителем «Протон-М» и разгонным блоком «Бриз-М», передает ТАСС. Об этом сообщил представитель Роскосмоса.
«Прошло отделение российского космического аппарата «Экспресс-АМУ1» от разгонного блока. Таким образом, программа запуска выполнена полностью», — сказал источник.
Планируется, что «Экспресс-АМУ1» будет эксплуатироваться в течение 15 лет. Космический аппарат обеспечит покрытие европейской части России в Ku- и Ка-диапазонах, а также предоставление услуг связи и вещания в Африке.
Ракета-носитель «Протон-М» стартовала с космодрома Байконур в Казахстане в 00:31 мск 25 декабря. Первоначально пуск планировался на 24 декабря в 00:30 мск, но был отложен на сутки из-за сильного ветра на космодроме.
