Корпорация Microsoft внесла в текст пользовательского соглашения Windows 10 новый пункт о том, что операционная система теперь сможет блокировать нелицензионное программное и аппаратное обеспечение, сообщает Huffungton Post.
Теперь пользователям Windows 10 придется согласиться на автоматическую проверку своего программного обеспечения и блокирование доступа к контрафактной продукции.
При этом в тексте соглашения не указывается, каким именно образом будет осуществляться контроль над установленным на компьютере программным обеспечением. Это вызывает вопросы о приватности, отмечает Huffington Post.
Однако отныне использование Windows 10 может привести к серьезным проблемам в тех странах, где нелицензионное программное обеспечение широко распространено.
Кроме того, Windows 10 будет также отслеживать неавторизованное периферийное оборудование, включая приставки Xbox с пиратскими прошивками, несертифицированные геймпады, аксессуары и игры.
Напомним, ранее стало известно, что Windows 10 не будет поддерживать старые игры, использующих для защиты от копирования устаревшие системы DRM — SafeDisc и некоторые версии Securom. В частности, на Windows 10 не будут запускаться игры, вышедшие с 2003 по 2008 год, в том числе — криминальный боевик Grand Theft Auto 3, авиасимулятор Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 и первое издание The Sims. В Microsoft считают, что эти приложения вторгаются глубоко в систему и могут оставлять лазейки для вирусов.
