Аэроэкспресс до Пулково пойдет не с Балтийского, а с Витебского вокзала

15558«Аэроэкспресс» до Санкт-Петербургского аэропорта Пулково, который, как планировалось ранее, будет ходить до Балтийского вокзала, возможно, изменит маршрут и будет прибывать на Витебский вокзал. Об этом сообщили в пресс- службе аппарата вице-губернатора Игоря Албина, передает ТАСС.

«Ленгипротранс» уже завершил предпроектные проработки.
В 2011 году «Ленгипротранс» по заказу Правительства Санкт-Петербурга и ОАО «РЖД» разработал вариант организации пассажирских перевозок в аэропорт с Балтийского вокзала, уточнили в аппарате вице-губернатора.
Теперь разработчики говорят, что преимуществом альтернативного пути от Витебского вокзала станут отсутствие необходимости коренной реконструкции существующих станций и перегонов Октябрьской железной дороги и отсутствие грузового движения на путях Витебского направления, используемых для пассажирского движения, что в перспективе позволит повысить маршрутную скорость пассажирских поездов.
Кроме того, как отмечается, Витебский вокзал удобнее для прибытия пассажиров, так как расположен в самом центре города возле станций двух разных линий метрополитена. Также отмечается возможность организовать дополнительную промежуточную остановку на станции метро «Купчино».

Согласно сообщению аппарата Албина, стоимость ветки до Витебского вокзала будет «сопоставима» с ценой за перегон Пулково — Балтийский вокзал (около 15 млрд рублей). 10 млрд рублей Смольный получит из федерального бюджета.

Основная часть проекта должна быть готова к лету. Поиск инвестора будет вестись на основе конкурса на государственно-частное партнерство.

Кроме того, отмечается, что петербургской скоростной электричке, возможно, придется давать иное название. Среди рабочих вариантов: «А-экспресс», «Пулковский экспресс», «Царскосельский экспресс».
