OsbrnВеликобритания не намерена участвовать в финансовой помощи Греции. Об этом заявил министр финансов страны Джордж Осборн, сообщает The Financial Times.

По мнению Осборна, мысли о «втягивании» Британии в спасение Греции неприемлемы и нарушают соглашение между европейскими лидерами 2010 года, когда премьер-министр Дэвид Кэмерон пресек все возможности участия Великобритании в финансовой поддержке еврозоны.

Также Осборн считает, что нельзя использовать Европейский механизм финансовой стабилизации для помощи Греции. «Мы дали ясно понять нашим коллегам из еврозоны, что пересмотр позиции Британии по поддержке еврозоны неприемлем», — сообщил источник в британском минфине.

Ранее сообщалось, что Осборн призывает не недооценивать выход Греции из еврозоны и его последствия.
